Engineering Plotter Paper – How to Choose

There are 2 different types of Engineering Plotter Paper – which one you should buy is determined by the type of plotter/printer that you are going to be using for your job.

Choose Inkjet Plotter Paper if:

1. You have an aqueous inkjet printer/plotter
   1. HP Designjet or Epson
   1. HP Pagewide or Canon with a 2” core spindle
2. Your paper rolls are on a 2” core
3. Your paper roll lengths are 100ft, 150ft or 300ft

Choose Xerographic Plotter Paper if:

1. You have a toner-based printer plotter
   1. Xerox, Oce, KIP, etc.
   1. HP Pagewide or Canon with a 3” core spindle.
2. Your paper rolls are on a 3” core
3. Your paper roll lengths are up to 500ft
